large glass mason jar (snowman is 8.5”x3.5”)
water
glycerin

Do you wanna build a snowman snow globe? Whoa, that was a blizzard of Yesses! That’s good, ‘cause this craft makes it easy to do. Making snow globes are a super-fun way for parents and children to kick off the holidays. We can’t stop smiling at this idea. Avalanche of adorbs!

Let’s Get Started!

Use a jar big enough to fit the snowman through the top. Parent-only: use a hot glue gun to glue the bottom of the snowman to the underside of the jar’s lid. DIY tip: you can roughen the lid’s surface first to make sure the snowman sticks well. Glue each snowman piece together.

Add water to the jar about half-way to the top. Parent-only step: add a dash of glycerin into the water. Glycerin lets the glitter fall more slowly.

Add glitter. Glitter will create a flurry of color. Choose the ones you like best - gold, blue, white, silver…or mix ‘em all in together!

Once the glue is dry, it’s time to give your snowman a new home! Place the lid on the jar and tighten. The lid must be on reeeaally good.

Turn it over and shake it to kick up a snowstorm!
