super cute sloth craft
Sloths have become nature’s superstars and it’s easy to see why. Their sleepy eyes and dolphin-like smile make them sooo adorable! With this paper towel roll craft, you and your child can create a sloth to keep in your home and hang him up anywhere!
Let’s Get Started!
Cut a paper towel roll ¾ of the way down. (You can also use a toilet paper roll.) Cut the paper bag to fit around the roll, cover the roll and glue it in place. With the remaining bag paper, sketch out the arms and legs in a boomerang shape. Cut each piece out.
Out of white construction paper, use a pencil to sketch out the shapes sloth’s face, stomach and claws. Cut out each piece. Using the black construction paper, draw shapes for the eyes and nose then cut out. Glue each piece in place. Glue the claws onto the limbs.
Glue or stick on googly eyes and draw the sloths’ smile.
Poke a fastener through each limb, continuing into the paper towel roll. Secure each fastener.
